CP3 Rising Stars Camp Recap: Warriors vs Clippers
Warriors Wing Trey Patterson: This young man is special without a doubt! He’s 6’8 with a nice ability to rebound the ball as well as good ball handling skills. He can score it in multiple ways and is a high flyer, he brings so many different attributes to the game that he will always be effective on the floor in some shape or form. You have to love that at this young age, he doesn’t mind going inside if his team needs him too, even though he’s skilled on the perimeter.
Warriors Wing Shannon Lowery Jr.: One of the better passers at camp and the top passer during their matchup with the Clippers. He has a gift for getting the ball to teammates in the right spots without turning it over, he’s 6’5 which helps him see over quite a few defenders. This young man think about passing as a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd option.
Warriors Wing Jahsean Corbett: Has a knack for getting into the paint, has a quick first step as well as shot fakes and jab steps to keep the defense guessing, has very strong fundamentals to his game.
Warriors Point Guard Rahsool Diggins: The youngster from Philly has end to end speed that will surely impress you, once he gets a full head of steam, he’s very difficult to defend. Also has a nice amount of flair to go along with the substance in his game, brings that ‘‘philly toughness’’. One of my favorite passes that I saw Rahsool convert was a no look, off hand pass to a teammate on the break.
Clippers Forward Jon Cole Middleton: Did all the small things that you want a bigger teammate to do, he’s 6’5 and 215 pounds and knows how to use his body. He sets hard screens, boxes out, and brings physical play for his squad.
