CP3 Rising Stars Camp: Hawks vs. Grizzles
Grizzles Guard Tyler Rice: Got it going as soon as the game started , scored the ball in various ways, seems as if he has a natural gift for scoring. Very nice stop and pop midrange game and does a good job of getting his shot of quickly.
Hawks Combo Guard Oteman Delancey: Plays for Showtime Ballers out of FL, he’s got good height for a guard already at 6’3 and is what we call a crafty player. He finds ways to get his shot off even if it seems like the defense is not giving him any space.
Grizzles Guard Marlo Fox: A very unselfish player that showed his gift for passing the ball, I can remember how many times he made passes that almost looked like they were definitely going to be turnovers but converted them into assist.
Grizzles Guard Javon Ruffin: Very smooth game overall, doesn’t get speed up, does a very good job of making adjustments and embracing contact while in the air to finish buckets.
Hawks Wing Daniel Nixon: Played more of the Power Forward position due to him being one of the taller players on his squad, however he is a skilled wing player. He can shot it decent from deep and can take his man off the dribble in numerous ways.
Hawks PG Jarius Northam: He’s small in height but what he lacks in that category he makes up for in heart, speed and toughness. He is the type of guard that truly excels when his team plays in transition and takes defensive matchups personally.
Hawks Forward Keon Ambrose-Hylton: Nice height at 6’7 and even though he has a slender frame, he plays the game hard and with a ton of energy. He was all over the court constantly making plays and providing extra possessions for his team.
Hawks Center Trey James: At 6’10, 230 pounds he’s a big body without a doubt, he rebounded well and did a good job of keeping his hands straight up when defending inside.
