Big Shots MB: 14U & 15U Standout. Part 2
Chapel Hill Bulldogs 14U Guard Isaiah Holman: Has a very quick first step that allowed him to get by defenders without ease throughout the day. Once he got into the lane, he made good decisions on when to pass and when to shoot, knocked down a decent amount of treys. Has nice form and lift on his shot.
Team Buckets 14U Point Guard Ronnie Thompson Jr: One of the smoothest ball handlers in the 14U division, he’s a quick guard that keeps defenders off balance and guessing. He’s small in stature but it sometimes benefits him at this age with how much speed he has, his quickness make it difficult for teams to switch bigs on him. Last but not least is his court vision and willingness to pass the ball, he looked to get others involved before himself and didn’t turn the ball over much.
Team Buckets 14U Wing Chase Niccum: It looks like we may have a new member of ‘‘splash team’’ this young man shot it well from deep, especially in catch and shoot situations. He will be heading to Dixon HS next season, and we won’t be surprised to see him getting some minutes early often.
Team Buckets 14U Guard Donovan Robinson: Another youngster with a very nice amount of talent and potential, he has a solid frame to go along with a nice game. He can score the ball well, he gets to the basket and scores it and can knock down the trey ball with a nice amount of efficiency.
Team United 15U Guard A’Mag Tate: Nice height for a young guard, he’s already above 6 feet which allows him to see over opponents to make easy reads and passes. Has a nice ability to score the ball as well, did a good job of finding the gas in the defense and finishing plays.
