Best Of The Summer: Class of 2020
Team Loaded Guard Jalen Cone: Cone is already pulling in ACC level offers going to his sophomore year and we are not surprised at all, he’s a gifted player with freakish athletic ability and can score from all over the floor. He will be back for another season at Walkertown HS next year and we expect major numbers from him as his stock continues to rise.
Juice All-Stars Guard Justin Wright: Wright started off the spring playing at an extremely high level, he can score the ball with ease and is a tremendous ball handler. The torch has officially been passed to him at Farmville Central HS this year and if he plays anything like he has this spring and summer, then the offers will roll end.
WBC Elite Guard Jordan McNeill: It is still a mystery to me how he hasn’t seen a rise in his recruitment yet but it’s only a matter of time, with all the tools he has in his game, there will be college at the D1 level that will pull the trigger on offering. Expect a big time season from him at Lumberton HS, as he teams up with backcourt mate Steph Lloyd.
Team Loaded 2020 Guard Evan Johnson: Arguably one of the top shooters in the state, Evan is one who has been consistently good over the summer. He has a knack for scoring the ball in multiple ways and plays the game with a confidence and calmness that you don’t normally see from a youngster his age.
Guard Jaden Springer: He’s currently ranked #1 in the state and doesn’t take long watching him to realize why he holds that ranking. He can score the ball, is extremely athletic, has a long wingspan and has a nice IQ for the game. Schools like UCLA, Wake Forest and other High majors have offered or shown high majors.
