Best Performers Of the Summer: C/O 2018 Final Recap
Durham Hurricanes 2018 Wing Trey Murphy III: Trey has made his college commitment and is a nice pickup for the program, he’s a respectful young man and a very talented player. He has a nice long wingspan and is a 3 point specialist with a lot of offensive tools.
NC Disciples 2018 Forward Rashad Dixon: An outstanding athlete that has recently caught the attention of numerous D2 programs. He has a frame like a grown man, is always active on the boards and has increased his scoring range from inside and midrange to knocking down the trey ball. Newberry and other D2 programs have inquired about Dixon as he could be a nice late pickup for a program.
Phoebus HS 2018 Wing Khyree Temple: This young man is absolutely special! He has a long wingspan, impressive ability to score the ball, a gift for passing and impressive athletic ability. It’s always impressive when you see a kid his height with such an advanced skillset and that knows how to play the game the right way.
Garner Road 2018 Guard Dakari Johnson: You won’t see him smile too much , but one thing is for sure, he’s going to bring his A game every time he laces up and steps on the floor. He was a huge reason of why Village Christian was able to take home the 2A chip last year due to his heady play in clutch situations. He has a gift for scoring the ball and is a very good defender, holds multiple D1 offers.
Team Charlotte 2018 Forward Ian Steere: This young man is a beast! If you watch him play for just a few moments you will see why the fans at Creighton are excited he signed. He throws down dunks in traffic, blocks shots at a high rate and is a tremendous rebounder, should be a huge asset for Northwood Temple.
