Westover Team Camp Standouts: Day 2
Who stood out during Day 2 and part of Day 3 at the Westover HS team camp? Listed below are some more youngsters that played well.
71st HS 2018 Wing Zion Autry: Zion is a player that colleges should become very familiar with as he is a player that can help a program from the wing position. He’s got a very strong frame and outstanding athletic ability that allows him to make plays above the rim offensively and altering shots defensively.
Village Christian 2018 Guard Malik Johnson: We didn’t get to see much of Village Christian due to scheduling conflict but the fact that they have Malik suiting up for them is definitely a positive. He’s a crafty guard that plays with supreme confidence and knows how to win games, in his 3 year high school career he’s lost less than 5 game total!
Terry Sanford 2018 Forward Holt Walker: Holt is beginning to come into his own slowly but surely, at 6’5/6’6 with a sweet shooting stroke, he is a player that you love to have on your squad. Each time we see him he continues to improve with his ability to attack the basket and becoming more aggressive.
EE Smith HS 2019 Guard Chris Jordan: Continuing to improve, solid shooter and has a floater that he used once he got into the lane. Will be a nice asset to EE Smith this upcoming season to provide assistance to star guard Isaac Bonds.
71st HS 2019 Forward Jaden Scriven: Another high flyer that had the crowd buzzing by showing his athletic ability, although he’s undersized for a forward his athleticism and heart make up for it.
Westover HS 2018 Guard Cam Williams: Provided some much needed perimeter scoring for the Wolverines throughout the day. Westover has size and speed and with Williams providing some scoring alongside fellow Senior Justin Ward, the Wolverines are slowly but surely coming together.
