Unsigned 2018 Forward Propsects
Westover HS & Team Wall Jalin Thorne: Thorne had somewhat of a quiet year for Westover but is a very skilled player that seems like he is soon to break out. He already has D1 interest and an offer from SC State as well a high amount of D2 interest, the 6’8 forward can play above the rim as well as knock down the deep ball and block shots.
Fayetteville Magic Forward Arshon King: King Is narrowing his decision down as to what private school he will attend next year, the chance of scenery could be very beneficial for this young man on and off the court. He’s a versatile player that can rebound it well, while scoring it with ease when he gets hot. At 6’5 you have to love what he can bring to the floor and the potential he has.
Carolina Wolves Forward Nate Springs: At 6’9 with nice wing skills he’s a very intriguing prospect, he has a slender frame but his ability to play at a high level will make you overlook his lack of weight. He can shoot the ball from deep as well as getting to his spots without much dribbling, he’s caught the eye of more and more colleges as time has gone on.
Forward/Center Tyzhaun Claude: A legit big with nice potential, he rebounds, blocks shots, and finished inside at a decent rate. He caught the attention of many with his play for Goldsboro HS and although he was unable to play at ECI in July we expect to see another good season from him when he gets fully healthy.
United Faith Christian KC Hankton: The 6’8 forward has a nice amount of D1 schools interested and it’s easy to see why, he’s very skilled and rebounds the ball well. He has nice athletic ability and the versatility to defend bigs and wings, MM schools are already on him at this point with interest and offers.
