Triangle Challenge Standouts Final Recap!
Juice All-Stars 2018 Forward Andrew Tuazama: A two sport athlete that you love to have on your team if you need a beast in the paint. He rebounded the ball and blocked shots at a high rate and most importantly, he provided extra possessions and opportunities for his squad.
Word of God Christian 2019 Wing Jaren Eleby: A long and lanky player that has an above average ball handling moves and a bunch of counter moves his arsenal. He got to the paint whenever he wanted and has a smooth game overall.
Word of God Christian 2020 Forward Todd Burke: A raw player with nice amount of potential, throughout the night he did all the small things you want from a bigger player. He rebounded the ball well, and kept it high until finding the right outlet pass to make. Also has decent hands, will be one to keep an eye on.
NC Redstorm 2018 Guard Maurice Wilcox: Has a natural ability to score the ball, small in height but can score the ball in multiple ways without much effort. He was another player that may not have necessarily had his best showing scoring the ball but got others going instead.
NC Redstorm 2018 Guard Isaiah Tatum: They lefty put his midrange game on display once again knocking down the midrange jumper consistently and getting to his spots. He has a quick first step and is a difficult player to stay in front of, on the defensive end he was active. Did a great job of communication with his teammates and coaches, always engaged in what’s going on.
Unique All-Stars Jomaru Brown 2018 Guard: Buckets, Buckets, and more buckets is what we expected from Jomaru and that exactly what he gave us. He provided the offense for his team throughout knocking down the deep ball, finishing around the basket, and getting out in transition before the defense has a chance to set up.
Unique All-Stars Jon Austin Unsigned Senior Forward: Reminds me a lot of a young Derrick Coleman from a style of play standpoint, he is comfortable facing up in the post and attacking and is solid with his back to the basket. Can also make plays from the perimeter, at 6’5 he would be a very nice pickup for a program that needs some size.
