Success Unlimited Tourney Warmup Day 2 Standouts
Fayetteville Magic 2019 Guard Charles Page: A knock down shooter from deep that keeps getting better each time they see him, his ball handling skills has improved and he has a nice wingspan for a guard his size. One thing you have to love about him is his confidence, it never waivers no matter what’s going on, which will be key for him for the remainder of the summer as the competition level increases.
Fayetteville Flash 2020 Guard Lavonte McLean: A natural bucket getter that doesn’t need the ball in hands for an extended amount of time to score, he moves very well without the ball and is constantly active on the offensive glass.
Fayetteville Flash 2021 Guard Demetrius Pope: He’s a young guy that has a game that is much more mature than his age, he sees plays before they happen and makes difficult plays look easy. He’s the type of PG that you can trust with the ball in his hands when the game is on the line.
Fayetteville Rockets 2020 Guard Manas Drummond: This youngster plays the game with a level of confidence and swagger that makes him fun to watch. Although he’s smaller in size, he makes up for it with his heart and how hard he plays the game, an attribute I loved about his game was his passing. He did an outstanding job of putting passes on target as well as pitching the ball ahead for easy buckets.
Fayetteville Magic 2020 Forward Travon Jackson: Jackson is a youngster with a football player’s body and the athletic ability of a basketball player. He’s quick on his feet and brings a lot of energy to the game, he can defend bigs and wings at 6’3/6’4 and has lots of potential. The next step for him will be cleaning up his shooting form, at the next level he will be asked to spend a lot more time on the wing.
