Recruiting Report: 2018 Edmond Thomas (Video)
2018 G Edmond Thomas is an interesting prospect who’s really flying under the radar. He was a key part of a sneaky-good Slidell team that won 24 games last season advancing to the quarterfinals as the 16 seed in Class 5A and they’re poised to be a threat again in 2017-18.
Thomas is a long guard that spends most of his time in the paint and is really effective against bigger players due to his craftiness and soft touch. He’s also fully capable of finishing above the rim and runs the break well as a lead guard scoring or finding teammates.
Thomas said he’s receiving high interest from Southwest State University in Minnesota and more programs should jump on board once they see what he’s capable of. Here’s a look at the 6-foot-3 prospect this spring and summer with Bo McCalebb Select, plus a district game against Hammond earlier this year.
