Prospect Spotlight: 2019 Jason Joseph (Video)
Landry-Walker is the reigning champ in Class 5A and they’re sure to be contenders once again in 2017-18. Jason Joseph will be a key part of that run and he’s been showcasing his skill set throughout the summer.
The 5-foot-9 guard has a super smooth jump shot and has cemented himself as one of the metro area’s best shooters. He’s always ready to fire and has a quick release in set situations or off the dribble. Joseph is also capable of knocking down midrange shots or finding teammates when he’s run off the 3-point line.
He’ll be one of the first players off the bench for Landry-Walker next year and will be a valuable option in late-game situations if the Charging Bucs need a big shot. Jason also gets after it on defense as an on-ball defender but hasn’t heard from any schools just yet.
Here’s a look at the sharpshooting guard this summer with Landry-Walker and his grassroots team, Louisiana Nightrydas Elite.
