Prospect Spotlight: 2019 Dajour Lloyd (Video)
Dajour Lloyd has been showcasing his skill set for quite some time now and he was at it again during the Extravaganza HoopFest tournament earlier this month in New Orleans. Lloyd produced as both a scorer and distributor on the offensive end of the floor and was a key factor to the Wolves success throughout both days of the event.
Lloyd’s consistency is beginning to become a theme and he’s been a big contributor for the Wolves dating back to last summer despite playing up in class as a 2019 prospect. He’s a patient player with a great feel for the game and is always even-keeled on the court.
Lloyd may appear to be the flamboyant type sporting his patented red mohawk and sleek tattoos but he’s really a quiet, quality kid that could really help a team on the next level. He scored a 17 on his first attempt at taking the ACT, finished his sophomore year with a 2.75 GPA and is aiming for a 3.0 this upcoming year.
Lloyd has received some preliminary interest from a few colleges and is still working towards securing his first offer. Check out the West Jefferson product in the Extravaganza HoopFest tournament with the Wolves.
