Prospect Spotlight: 2018 Arturro Bingham (Video)
There’s usually one kid from out of town at our local tournaments that gets a bit of buzz. Last time at Exposure HoopFest it was Florida Dream 2019 PG Josh Williams and this time at Extravaganza HoopFest, that guy was 2018 Arturro Bingham.
The first time I saw this 6-foot-4 prospect, he was slamming home a two-handed dunk off of essentially a stand still in game action and he only got better from there. Bingham is an extremely athletic and physical player who matched up well against the tournaments top best.
He’s tough to guard off the dribble due to his strength and speed and he also looked confident behind the 3-point line knocking down a good number of shots. Bingham had a scorer’s mentality throughout the tournament and has all the tools to be a Division I prospect.
He says schools like Tulane, Iona, Delta State, Pitzer College, Hinds CC and Jones CC have shown interest in the past. Here’s a look at the Mississippi Hawks product at Extravaganza HoopFest.
