2017 NW PREMIER SHOWCASE STANDOUTS:
2017 NW PREMIER SHOWCASE was held this year in Seattle, Washington and at some of the nearby high schools and middle schools. The bigger programs shared the main stage at Bellevue College. Lets take a look at the top standouts during this past weekend. This was a great weekend of hoops. With multiple gyms having games from the sunlight to sundown if you’re into seeing the next biggest stars this was a perfect time to come out and see them before tickets sales go up as they move on their respective college programs.
2020 5’10 point guard Bradley Graham of Team Avery Bradley is quick and shifty and left his mark in the showcase. He can shoot from about anywhere on the court and is a true point guard who can make others around him better. D1/D2 Prospect.
2018 6’0 point guard Miguel Tomley of Drive Elite is a slick and wiry floor general that has a ton of speed. Pushes it in the open floor and has the ability to blow past his defender. Plus passer that sees the floor especially in transition, but is making significant strides in the half court getting others involved. Jump shot is a weapon from mid-range and while streaky from deep he can hit them from beyond the arc. D1 Prospect.
2020 6’0 point guard Daquonye Parrish of Washington Elite is a point guard that plays with a high basketball IQ. He is crisp with his passes, moves well without the ball, and can shoot it off the catch. D1/D2 prospect.
2020 6’6 forward Lemar Lighbrown of Washington Elite had a good weekend for Washington Elite. Lightbrown played with toughness in the paint, rebounded well, and used his strength to score around the rim. He is very skilled for his size and can make things happen off the dribble. D2’s need to be monitoring him.
2020 6’4 shooting guard Tyler Patterson of FOH is a long 6’4” guard that will shoot it from deep or go to the wing to post up, rip hard, and get past his defender. He can finish over smaller defenders or with contact for bigger opponents. D1/D2 Prospect.
