ECI Team Camp: Cox Mill vs Greenfield Standout Players
Cox Mill 2019 Guard Wendell Moore: Wendell wasted no time at all getting going, as soon as the game started he scored the ball at a very high rate. He made plays above the rim and was on fire early from downtown including a buzzer beater three pointer from the wing, no doubt in my mind that he can be a top 10 nationally ranked player before it’s all said and done.
Greenfield School 2018 Guard Coby White: We all know by now that Coby White has an amazing gift for scoring the ball, and he showed that once again during this matchup. Although his outside shot wasn’t falling he still filled up the scoring stat sheet getting into the paint and finishing: above, around, and under opponents for buckets. He’s ranked #1 in NC for the class of 2018 by us for a reason folks, big time player and a 5 star prospect without a doubt.
Greenfield School 2018 Guard Elijah McCadden: There was rumor that Elijah would not be able to play due to a recent ankle injury but he showed up and showed out in this game. He was constantly aggressive and showed how special of a player he can be, HM programs should be on him without a doubt.
Cox Mill 2018 Guard Rechon ‘‘ Leaky’’ Black: The UNC commit showed flashes of his gift to score the ball as well how athletic of a player he is, but where he shined the most was his facilitation ability and defense. He does a good job of using his height and length to make things difficult for opponents.
Greenfield School 2020 Guard Dji Bailey: It’s always interesting to see how a youngster plays in these types of games, he wasn’t a superstar in this game but he made plays and picked his spots. He has a smooth shooting stroke and displayed a nice IQ for the game throughout, he’s one to keep an eye on.
Cox Mill 2019 Forward Caleb Stone-Carrawell: Although he is overlooked due to the high level star power that is on his team, this young man had a very solid showing. He can shoot the ball from deep, male plays for others from the wing, and at 6’6 he can go inside to battle with bigs.
