ECI Team Camp: Costal Christian vs Forest Hills HS Standout Players
Costal Christian 2020 Forward Chazz Banks: Provided an inside presence for their squad, and played very well. He rebounded the ball at a very high level, he embraces contact well and is what we would define as a bruiser. Not only did he do his damage inside the paint but he also played well when he was on the perimeter, already 6’4/6’5.
Costal Christian 2018 Guard Caleb Vernon: A youngster that passed the eye test when we first saw him, although he still has some areas of his game that he will need to tighten up, he showed some flashes of how good he can be. He knocked down the trey ball well and was very unselfish.
Costal Christian 2019 Kamron Greene: A quick and crafty guard that did a bit of everything for his squad throughout the game. He can score the ball from outside and inside, and truly excels when playing the game at a high tempo.
Forest Hills 2019 Keeshawn Taylor: Has good hands, finished very well inside around the basket, already has a body of a player that can play on the college level. Although he is undersized being a 6’2 Forward, he plays much bigger than his height.
Forest Hills 2018 Asiah Byrd: One of the most versatile players on the court, he brings a little of everything to his squad. He can handle the ball well, is a solid passer and can rebound the ball.
Forest Hills 2018 Jaleel McLaughlin: He’s a strong bodied guard that got where he wanted just whenever he wanted, a solid ball handler and an overall good teammate.
Forest Hills 2020 Josh Owens: Another youngster who plays bigger than his height, he’s 6’3 but plays like he’s 6’6. He has a nice amount of back to the basket moves and has an old school vibe about him to his game, he doesn’t mind doing whatever it takes for his team to win.
