Big Shots Charlotte: 2018 Standouts
Prep Hoops SC took in the action Big Shots – Charlotte. Here is a look at some of the talent from the North Carolina 2018 Class.
Ramello Williams New Hanover HS (Wilmington) / Flight 22 Premier
Williams 6’3 small forward is learning to play more away from the basket. Williams played in the post for the Wildcats this season. Williams can score the ball from the mid-range and is working more on his perimeter skills. Williams plays all over the floor for Flight 22 Premier. Williams at times today showed his versatility bringing the ball up the floor. Williams scored 17 points in the lost to Team Wall 17u.
Cameron Whiteside – Thomasville HS / High Point Havoc (picture on the front)
Whiteside a 6’4 shooting guard Whiteside can shoot the ball from anywhere on the floor. Whiteside is very confident shooter. Whiteside made some tough tough shots today shooting over the defenders. Whiteside scored 29 points and hit seven three pointers in the loss to TMP. Whiteside averaged 12.0 ppg last year at Thomasville HS.
Jordan Roberson – East Forsyth HS (Kernersville) / High Point Havoc
Roberson a 6’1 combo guard hit several shots on the right wing today. Roberson plays with a bit of chip on his shoulder attitude. Roberson scored 9 points and all were from three point range in the loss to TMP.
Kenny Dye – Northside HS (Jacksonville) / Flight 22 Elite
Dye 6’0 point guard hit several pull-up mid-range jumpers today, Dye has the ability to create his own shot when needed. Dye seems a perfect teammate as he is very vocal on the floor and on the bench cheering on his teammates. Dye averaged 12.4 ppg, 6.5 assists and 2.9 steals this season for the 30-0 Monarchs.
Christian Parks -East Lincoln HS (Denver) / Denver Nuggets
Parks 6’2 combo guard is always gambling and in the passing lanes for steals. Parks leads the Nuggets up the floor. Parks can hit the mid-range jumper and the three-point shot. Parks scored 14 points in the win over the GWP Sixers.
Anthony Anderson – Elevation Prep (Charlotte) / Carolina Warriors
Anderson 6’6 small forward is very athletic and tends to show deep range on his shot. Anderson has the ability to attack the rack. Anderson scored 17.1 ppg last season at Elevation Prep.
