Prospect Spotlight: Nendah Tarke (2019)
Nendah Tarke, a class of 2019 guard for Bullis, has caught our eye with his energy and athleticism in two games at the BSN Summer League. Tarke will join Bullis after transferring over from Gaithersburg, where he was arguably their most prolific scoring threat.
“I think I’m an all around player. I like to score, but I also like to get my teammates involved a lot,” Tarke explained. “Get their shot going. I think that’s how we win as a team.”
Tarke has been all over the court making hustle plays in Bullis’ first two games at BSN Summer League. The Bulldogs, who are without Lincoln Yeutter and Phil Smith, are looking to find other options in support of Vado Morse. Tarke has been very aggressive, and is taking the chances he’s been given.
“Defensive rebounding, and my total assist count. And also my on ball defense. I think that’s a little underrated,” Tarke stated. “My jump shot has really improved over time. Before, I started off just inside, but now I’m starting to expand my game out more.”
Tarke stands out initially as a high flyer, but there’s a whole lot more to his game. Tarke’s jumper is still a work in progress, but he admittedly needs to grow in that area. What does Tarke think he can bring to a college program?
“I feel like I can bring leadership.”
