Prospect Spotlight: Kevin Fee (2018)
Kevin Fee, a class of 2018 wing at St. Albans School, is off to a strong start this summer. A standout at Maryland Team Camp, Fee continued his strong run of play this week at the BSN Summer League. The 6-foot-3 sharpshooter hit 3 of 7 from deep on his way to 19 points in a win vs. Good Counsel.
“Outside shooting,” Fee replied when asked to describe his game.
In the last twelve months, Fee has become a better rebounder. He is an underrated leader, and is always giving out tips to his teammates. Fee could be named captain next year as a result, but he admittedly needs to continue to work on his defense.
“I’m doing pretty well,” said Fee when asked how he’s doing in school. “STA is hard and we don’t do GPA, but if I had to guess around 3.5.”
Fee is not only an accomplished basketball player. He is very well rounded off the court. Fee has already established himself professionally, and is clearly organized and determined.
“I’m getting looks from some schools for crew, not basketball,” Fee stated.
What can Fee bring to a program at the next level?
“I think I can help spread the floor with the threat of shooting.”
Fee played limited minutes as a junior, but should see a major boost in minutes this coming season. With how well he has been shooting the ball in recent weeks, along with his improvements and well rounded overall game, Fee is a strong candidate to break out as a senior.
