NTBA Tournament Standout players: Class of 2019
Fayetteville Magic 2019 Guard Jamahri Harvey: Harvey played well throughout , he used his height, length and athletic ability to score the ball with ease, has a nice natural feel for how the game is supposed to be played.
Fayetteville Magic 2019 Guard Talton Jones: Jones has a floater that would make the old Denver Nuggets star Alex English proud, he gets it off quickly and consistently knocks it down. His passing once again was on full display as he dropped a high amount of beautiful passes to teammates.
NC Skills 2019 Guard Bright Naisen: Got to his spots that he wanted to with ease, he has a very smooth game and was impressive with handling all types of pressure, loves to compete and doesn’t back down from a challenge.
Fayetteville Magic 2019 Davonte Gathers: Davonte has what you call sneaky athletic ability, he does look like he can play above the rim but in a quick moment he can take off and put an opponent on a poster.
RAID Nation 2019 Forward Deumbray Ginyard: Probably the hardest playing individual at the entire event, he does whatever it takes for his team to win but is also a very skilled player.
Fayetteville Magic 2019 Raekwon Knuckles: A strong young man who plays the game with a business approach, he can score inside and from deep, and is adding more athleticism to his game. On the defensive end of the floor he has a Ben Wallace type of approach to the game, he rebounds, blocks shots, and plays hard.
NC Skills 2019 Tozian Dunn: Dunn is an enforcer, he bangs inside, gets rebounds, blocks shots and sends opponents to the deck if his team needs him too. It’s always nice to have a player like Tozian on your team when you’re playing against some stiff competition.
Fayetteville Magic 2019 Guard Brandon Murray: They call him buckets for a reason, he has a gift for scoring the ball and is a sharp shooter from deep that clearly showed with a 50 Point performance he put together in the bracket play rounds of the event.
