He will need to add some muscle to his frame but one attribute that you have to love about him already is his aggressiveness when he attacks the basket. There was countless times where he tried to dunk on defenders with monster throw downs, although he didn’t convert you love to see the attempt from the youngster.
Westover HS 2018 Jalin Thorne: Thorne is a player that we have had our eye on for the past few years, this summer will be huge for Thorne recruitment wise and it seems as if he has been sharpening his skills as he’s spent more time at the PF spots. Although he rebounds the ball well, he did most of his damage offensively facing up to the defense and making plays out of the high post.
Clinton HS 2018 Forward Dewan Lesane: One of the most impressive players in the building throughout the day, he is a slasher type of player that uses his quickness and lift for offense. He plays with a very high motor, but is skilled, he can play multiple positions and is a player D2 schools should be on.
Clinton HS 2018 Guard Kris Williams: If Clinton HS wants to go far into the State tournament they will need the stellar play that this man showed on Friday. He can score the ball from deep, makes on point passes and applies constant pressure to opponents all game long.
Freedom Christian Guard Jamahri Harvey: One of the most slept on players in the state is continuing to improve each time we see him, he has a nice long wingspan and a gift to score the ball we are confused as to why he doesn’t have more offers. The day didn’t end before he got calls from more D1 schools such as George Washington and Liberty University.
Fayetteville Academy Wing Charles Massie: At 6’3 with impressive athletic ability, Charles catches your attention very closely, he is still developing in his ball handling skills as a wing but the he’s a high flyer without a doubt. Once he puts it all together he will be one that college coaches will want to have on their target list.
