All Maryland Team (Western, MD, Eastern & Western Shore) Part 3.
We have formed 2 All Star teams to date for The Maryland / DC areas. The 1st was the Baltimore All Metro consisting of 3 teams. The second was the DMV 495 I-495/55 teams consisting of 5 teams. Both teams were from the Washington, DC DMV and the Baltimore DMV. Other areas of Maryland not located in the Washington or Baltimore areas were not included. Therefore our All Maryland non DMV Team will include areas such as Western, Maryland, Hagerstown, Frederick and the Eastern Shore. This is Part 3 of our All Maryland Team (Western, MD, Eastern & Western Shore)
Counties included are Garrett, Allegany, Washington, Frederick, Carroll, Howard, Cecil, Kent, Queen Anne’s, Talbot, Caroline, Dorchester, Wicomico, Somerset, Worcester, St. Marys, Charles, & Calvert Counties.
Sean Jodrie, PF, Oakdale HS Ijamsville, MD, 2017.
D’Angelo had a great year for Kings Christian HS, located in Southern, MD on the western shore, averaging 24.6 ppg, shooting 50% from the field, 3.4 assists per game & accumulating a fantastic 3.97 GPA. Kings Christian finished the season with a 21-1 record.
Daquon Watts, , 5’11”, PG, Huntingtown HS Solomons Island, MD 2018.
Daquon was key player in helping Huntington achieve a fine 17-7 record. For the year he averaged 13 ppg, 2.2 apg , 2 rpg and 1.9 steal per game. Daquon is an excellent jump shooter and facilitator. The Hurricanes won the SMAC title, but suffered a very tough 54-53 loss to Potomac in the Maryland 4A Regionals. Potomac lsot in the 3A finals to Poly of Baltimore 64-65. Daquon was awarded 1st Team All SMAC
Jiar White, 6’0″, G, North Hagerstown HS, Hagerstown, MD, 2017.
The high-flying, 6-foot senior transfer from St. Maria Goretti averaged 17.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.7 steals, helping the Hubs to a 14-9 mark. He scored at least 22 points in five straight games in December before suffering a sprained ankle.
Tre Woodyard, 5’9″, PG, Winters Mills HS Westminster, MD 2017.
Tre was Carroll County’s 2nd leading scorer at 20.8 points per game this past season. Also, he averaged 6.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game for the Falcons. Tre will play next year for Penn State York.
