Freddie Taylor (2018) New Hanover HS (Wilmington) – Flight 22 Unsigned
Taylor on loan from his regular team Flight 22 Premier (team not playing) this weekend. Taylor a point guard came up time after time with some big shots today. Taylor a scrappy point guard ignited the offense with his fellow Wildcats teammate Ramello Williams.
Ramello Williams (2018) New Hanover HS (Wilmington) – Flight 22 Unsigned
Williams scored 25 points in this game vs Flight 22 Elite. Williams a jack of all trades type of guy really showed his handling the ball in transition and knocking down shots out on the perimeter today. Williams is always around the ball on both ends of the floor.
Josh Aldrich (2018) New Hanover HS (Wilmington) – Flight 22 Unsigned
Aldrich hit the game winner with seconds left in the game for Flight 22 Unsigned. Aldrich the son of current Brunswick Community College and former UNCW player Ken “Tiger” Aldrich. Aldrich tends to be getting better every time he comes out on the floor. Aldrich 6’6 now finished around the basket all day long and came up with big rebounds on both sides of the floor.
John Bowen (2017) – West Bladen HS (Bladenboro) – Flight 22 Unsigned (pictured on front)
Bowen is a stretch face-up 4 man. Bowen has the ability to stroke the 3 pointer. Bowen 6’8 recently received a scholarship offer from Chowan (NC) (NCAA D2) and Belmont Abbey (NC) (NCAA D2). Bowen tends to glide over the floor and has the ability to finish above the rim.
Greg Orr (2017) – Midway HS (Newton Grove) – Flight 22 Unsigned
Orr 5’7 a water-bug point guard is very quick end to end with the ball. Orr really can switch gears and get by defenders.
Brendan Kowalewski (2017) – Waccamaw HS (Pawleys Island, SC) – Flight 22 Unsigned
Kowalewski plays one way and that is hard at all times. Kowalewski won’t overwhelm you with athleticism but he plays with a lot of passion and heart. Kowalewski took a few charges today and did knock down a mid-range jumper. Kowalewski is a small college player.
Jeff Hintz (2017) – North Myrtle Beach Christian (North Myrtle Beach, SC) – Flight 22 Unsigned
Hintz 6’7 small forward was not here with the team on Sunday. Hintz has played just 2 years of varsity basketball for the Stallions. Hintz has received interest from Piedmont International (NC) and Robert Morris (IL) – Peoria campus according to his father David Hintz. Hintz averaged 17 ppg and 6.8 rebounds this past season for the Stallions. Hintz finished his two year career with 929 points and 353 rebounds.
