Fayetteville , NC NTBA 16U Tourney Champs: Fayetteville Magic
Last Saturday in Fayetteville the Fayetteville Magic and The Angel Elite 16U teams met in the NTBA championship game at Fayetteville Academy. Earlier we broke down the Angel Elite roster that finished 2nd by taking a tough loss to the Fayetteville Magic, now it’s the Tournament Champions turn and I must say they are team that has plenty of talent of their own that college coaches should be keeping an eye on.
2019 Guard Brandon Murray: Murray playing with the Raid Nation squad as well but this weekend he laced up his kicks for the Magic. Murray displayed a smooth shooting stroke from deep and found ways to get into the paint and draw fouls, he finished with 15 Points.
2019 Guard Adrian Elliot: Adrian reminds me a lot of Miami Heat guard Dion Waiters, he’s a strong guard that has confidence in his game. He can get to the basket and score as well as shooting the deep ball consistently, he finished with 18 Points in the win.
2019 Forward Kennan Orgarra: Kennan was one of my favorite players to watch throughout the tournament, he is a dangerous dual threat scoring and rebounding the ball. He doesn’t mind physical play at all and brings constant effort and energy, he finished with 18 Points and 10 rebounds.
2019 Guard Taliek Brown: Brown did a lot of the ball handling for the squad and although he is not a flashy player, he does a good job of keeping the game simple and getting the squad into their sets.
2019 Forward Miles Ray: Freakish athlete that probably had the one of the top plays of the tournament when he threw down a nice put back dunk in Pool Play. Although he’s still raw you have to really like his potential and what he can bring to his team on both ends of the floor.
