Milos Supicia is headed to Charlotte!
Freedom Christian & Upward Stars Forward Milos Supicia officially took his name off the board on Monday as he verbally committed to the 49ers of Charlotte. It’s been fun watching this young man’s progression over the years as he has improved in just about every aspect of the game. The fans at Charlotte can expect a player that has a very high ceiling of potential and can stretch the floor at the Forward spot with his outstanding perimeter shooting. We got a chance to speak with Milos about life on and off the court, his decision to attend UNCC and what he does to get his mind right for game days.
Q: You have been In the US for a few years now, how have you been able to adjust to life on and off the court?
Milos: I became part of a family that looked at me like I was their real son, and they taught me a lot about life here and were giving me advices daily. Coach Pruessner also helped me become what I am today, I never thought that I can develop so much in short amount of time, he really helped me develop my skills and my body for opportunity to play at the next level.
Q: What was some of the things that you liked about the UNC-Charlotte program?
Milos: When I was there it felt like home, I was surrounded by a good people. There was not a thing that I did not like about it. Fact that 4 time NBA all-star Mark Price is going to be my coach is just unimaginable. I feel like they can develop my skills even more and get me ready for professional basketball.
Q: What do you feel you can bring to a team at the college level?
Milos: I feel like I can have an immediate impact on their program, they need a skilled 4 man that can stretch the floor. That’s the reason I think I am a good fit in their program.
Who is your favorite NBA Team and NBA player?
Milos: Los Angeles Clippers, Blake Griffin and Zac Randolph
