Meet The Player: Aaron Cash
We got the chance recently to catch up with Word of God Christian Forward Aaron Cash, he’s a youngster who is still reaching hos potential and is a name that college coaches at the D1 level are already pretty familiar with.
Q: How did the HS season at Word of God go for you?
Cash: My HS season at Word of God went great I got spend it with my close friends Blake Harris, Aaron Simmons, Tahj Smalls, and Brandon Huffman .I basically grew up around these guys and it helped me build my confidence to do bigger and better things in basketball due to the experience.
Q: What do you feel you bring to a team on and off the court at the HS level and what do you feel you can bring to a college level team?
Cash: Well what I bring to a team on the court is energy and I kind of like to put on a show with my teammates because at the end of the day what a lot of players forget is to have fun and still keep a winning attitude about it. Off the court I try to build as much chemistry with my teammates as possible, I try to make an unbreakable bond because you never know where u will end up in the next 5 years.
Q: How’s your recruitment going so far?
Cash: My recruitment is going good so far I have these schools right now recruiting me:
- University of Richmond
- Penn State
- GMU
- JMU
- DePaul
By this summer I’m supposed to be receiving more due to all these phone calls I’ve been receiving lately my coach with Team Loaded NC said I should be getting 20+ offers.
On game day what’s one thing you always have to do for pregame?
On my pre- game I usually pray and give thanks for getting where I’m at today and in warm up lines when I get the rebound I would always slap the back board with the ball.
