April has come and its that time of year when players begin to select colleges or new interest picks up for underclassmen. Listed below are some updates of players around the state that have changes in their recruitment or have decided on committing to a college within the past few weeks!
· Oak Hill Academy & Game Elite 2019 Guard Josh Nickelberry has picked up interest from Louisville & UCONN.
· West Bladen HS Unsigned Senior John Bowen has picked up interest from Mississippi Valley State University, Air Force & Presbyterian.
· West Bladen Guard Sayaun Dent has verbally committed to Lander University.
· Whiteville HS Guard Tyrell Kirk has added more D1 offers with the latest coming from UNC-Asheville.
· Ayden Grifton Guard D.J Suggs verbally committed to Louisburg College (NJCAA) this week.
· Village Christian Forward Nassyr Daniels & North Pitt HS Guard Devonte Pettaway both took a visit to Mars Hill this past weekend.
· Pine Forest HS Unsigned Senior Wing Tyshun Archie is now receiving strong interest from Caldwell Tech CC
· Cape Fear HS PG A.J Baldwin is getting interest from: Brunswick CC, Pitt CC, Winston Salem State, Caldwell Tech CC, St. Andrews University & Davidson County CC
· South View HS F/C Vernon Mcwhite has Sandhills CC & Fayetteville Tech CC in his final list of schools.
· Apex HS F Eric Fox is receiving strong interest from Newberry & Saint Andrews University.
· Village Christian Wing Omari Wilson will be taking visits to Lenoir Rhyne and Newberry
· C/O 2016 Goldsboro HS Star Guard Myron Carmon recently committed to Belmont Abbey after a year of JC ball.
· Farmville Central Guard Tyler Maye took an official visit this past weekend to the University Of Nebraska
· Freedom Christian Academy Forward Lawrence Williams has committed to Lincoln Trail College along with former teammate Guard Todd Smith.
· Fayetteville Academy Guard Demetrius Jones is getting interest from Peace College & Pfeiffer University.
· Village Christian Wing Jarvez Ellis is receiving interest from multiple D2 programs and recently went on a visit to Newberry.
