Prep Hoops Washington Fan Vote for Player of the Year

The Prep Hoops Fan Vote Washington Player of the Year poll is up! There were several standout performances this season. Check out the players and stats below and then scroll to the bottom to vote for who you believe deserves the award! We will announce the winner of the fan vote next week, as well as the staff selection for Prep Hoops Washington Player of the Year.
Voting will close on Saturday, March 25th.
Now to the nominees:
Michael Porter, Jr., Nathan Hale, Sr.
The 6-foot-9 Porter averaged 34.8 points and 13.8 rebounds and led Nathan Hale to a 29-0 record, the No. 1 ranking in the country and the program’s first-ever state championship. Porter was named Mr. Basketball (the overall Player of the Year) by the state coaches’ association.
Jaylen Nowell, Garfield, Sr.
The star 6-foot-5 guard continued to improve his stock this season averaging 20.5 points and 3.3 assists, while helping the Bulldogs to a second-place finish at the 3A state tournament.
Kevin Porter, Jr., Rainier Beach, Jr.
The lone junior on this list, the 6-foot-5 left-hander averaged 24 points, 11 rebounds and five assists for the Vikings. Porter will be a highly-coveted recruit next year as Rainier Beach goes for its fifth state title in seven seasons.
Nate Pryor, West Seattle, Sr.
The Seattle University signee averaged 18.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 4.7 assists as the speedy senior led West Seattle to its third state appearance in program history. Pryor was the 3A Player of the Year by the state’s coaches association.
Carson Tuttle, Kamiak, Jr.
The 5-foot-11 sharpshooter averaged 22.5 points, 5.9 assists and four rebounds and led the Knights to the regional round of the state tournament.
Roberto Gittens, Foss, Sr.
Gittens, a Boise State commit and the coaches’ association’s 2A Player of the Year, averaged 21.6 points, 6.9 rebounds and 5.3 points for the state champion Foss team.
Cameron Cranston, Union, Sr.
The coaches’ association’s Player of the Year for 4A, Cranston averaged 19.3 points per game and a second-place finish at the state tournament.
