James Moore decides and more signings
Prep Hoops has some recruiting news updates on this Thursday evening that came over the desk.
James Moore has committed to Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington, NC for next
season according to Legacy Charter Head Coach BJ Jackson. Moore is a 6’7 jumping jack from
Eastern North Carolina originally. Moore played AAU ball with Garner Road.
Moore is ranked #30 in the Prep Hoops Top 125 this season.
Malik Wilson
Malik Wilson received a scholarship offer today from South Georgia Tech he told Prep Hoops. Wilson
6’3 athletic wing plays at Lakewood HS (Sumter). Wilson played in the Swanny’s Unsigned Senior Event
this past weekend.
Todd Smith shooting guard from Mt Zion Christian Academy (Durham) has signed with Lincoln Trail
College in Robinson, IL. Smith has made several stops over the years before surfacing at Mt Zion Christian
Academy this fall. Smith is ranked #24 in the North Carolina 2017 class this season.
Ruesdale Williams
Ruesdale Williams played this past season at Forest Trail Academy. Williams a Canadian product plays the
point guard position. Williams has signed onto play at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M next season. Williams
is ranked #83 in the North Carolina 2017 class.
Tremaine Lawrence, Brandon Speller and James Smith have all signed on with junior colleges for next fall.
Lawrence 6’5 will play at Dodge City Community College (KS) according to Conqs Head Coach Kyle
Campbell. Speller will head off to Hill College (TX) while Smith has inked with Clarendon College (TX).
Lawrence, Speller and Smith all played this past season at Liberty Heights Athletic Institute in Charlotte.
