While balancing the demands of his senior season, Urie is also contemplating where he will play college basketball.
“I’ve gotten offers from Jamestown and Briar Cliff,” Urie said. “I’m looking at those two, Concordia-Moorhead and Augsburg right now. I’ve toured all of those schools.”
Two-year schools are also an option for Urie.
“I’ve just recently looked into the idea of going to a junior college,” he said. “I haven’t talked to any yet. I want to be in a city, so the size of the school doesn’t matter. I want to get a good education, so it just depends if I feel I could fit in at the school and in the basketball program.”
Urie’s most important factors in his college search are location and finding the right fit. He impressed us at our NHR Top 250 event in September and grabbed his Jamestown offer shortly afterwards.
