Once he and his brother Telligence Johnson rejoined the team you could clearly see how much deeper and dangerous the squad had become when they combined with the team members who had previously been there. Terry Sanford would end up going on a very nice run and would win the Conference Championship while also making it to the 3rd round in the state eventually losing to Northern Nash by just two points. Now that the offseason has begun we already see that colleges and media member have taken notice of how well Malik Johnson has played in his time back and how he hasn’t missed a beat.
With invites to the GMR Super 60 Showdown that he was named MVP of last year and an invite to the prestigious Basketball Elite Fab 40 Camp, Malik will be looking to show his talent against other top talent this spring. Although he still undecided as to what AAU program he will play with this summer, people can fully expect for this young man to be a dangerous player no matter who he plays with.
