“The season is going great,” Walker said. “We have a better record this year than last year. We are currently 14-1.”
Walker is one of four Titans averaging double figures with his 11.2 points per contest. Joevon is able to give his team more this year because he’s changed his conditioning.
“The biggest difference for me from last year and this year is my weight loss,” Joevon stated. “I started out my senior year at 260 pounds and right now I weigh 225 pounds. I rarely get tired in games this year so I’m able to play big minutes for my team.”
Walker is one of Minnesota’s best back to the basket players and several community college programs have made contact trying to get him to join their program next winter.
“I’m hearing the most from Trinidad State, North Dakota School of Science, Williston State, Bay College, and, Western Nebraska has shown a lot of interest in me.
“Those are all division one junior colleges except Bay College, that’s division two. I don’t have any idea what school I would want to play for next year yet, but I want to go somewhere where I can really showcase my abilities.”
Joevon has scored 964 points in his career from we can put together with online records so he will soon go over 1,000 for his career.
