“I feel as a senior I have the biggest role in all categories,” he said. “Leadership, offense and defense. (The season is) going better now; things are starting to click for us as a team now, and we’re growing as a team every day.”
The 6-foot-5 forward averaging 14.4 PPG has narrowed his college search down to four schools: Augsburg, Concordia-Nebraska, Northwestern (Iowa) and Saint Mary’s.
“I love that Augsburg is really close to home and I’ve gotten really close with the coaching staff,” Jamaris said. “Same thing with Northwestern; I’ve been in constant contact with them and they show me that they really want me there. Saint Mary’s has done a really good job of making me feel special and showing they want me, contacting me on holidays with letters and texts.
“The only one I have visited is Augsburg. I will sit down with my family, listen to what they think is the best option for me and then make my decision.”
The next St. Croix Lutheran game is on Tuesday when the Crusaders visit Concordia Academy.
