He describes his game as smart, aggressive and tough. Northrop is a playmaker that has serious range from all over the court. But he can also pass, and makes sure to not force too much by passing to open teammates.
“I definitely think of myself as a playmaker, passing and shooting,” Northrop said. “I do want to work on getting stronger in the future though.”
Northrop said that he has some interest from schools, and is expecting increase in interest after he plays AAU during the Spring and Summer.
“I want to play at the highest level possible in college,” he said.
For now Northrop is focusing on helping the Richland Bombers succeed and he says that playing in the Mid-Columbia Conference is helping him prepare to play the tougher teams throughout the state.
