Which bring us to the young man Will Boyd who has faced major adversity in the past year and has overcome to the point that he has numerous college scholarship offers. Against New Life Christian he finished with 10 Points and 9 Rebounds, you could see the potential in him without a doubt, he has a positive attitude about things and will only continue to get better. He does a good job of keeping the ball high when he catches it and has a nice soft touch from midrange, college programs looking for a big for next season should keep an eye on the 6’9 Will Boyd.

Q: I had been told before the game that you faced some adversity last year where you weren’t able to complete the season, so what exactly happened?
Will Boyd: I had a brain tumor, I was having bad migraines and everything so I went to the hospital and they did the CAT scan which showed that I had a mass on my brain. So they took me in to have surgery, one surgery was to get the tumor out which was the size of a softball and the second surgery was when they had to drain some blood. I was in the hospital for about two months, I played two games last season and that was it, I couldn’t work out or anything.
Q: What do you feel are some of the things you have to do to complete your come back?
Will Boyd: I just have to work harder, that’s is just work hard I can’t be outworked by anybody, If I want to get back to where I was last year I have to work hard on and off the court.
