At this point he doesn’t have a ton of schools that are recruiting him but he is definitely a player that colleges should be watching closely.
Q: You guys got a good win today in Overtime, what’s something you all learned from this game?
Suggs: We have to be more physical because those boys were very physical with us and we got outrebounded and outhustled in the first two quarters. We came out better in the last two but we should be doing that all game.
Q: What’s your recruitment looking like so far?
Suggs: Catawba has contacted me and Pitt Community College. That’s the only two that I know of right now.
Q: What do you feel you bring to your high school team and possibly a college team in the future?
Suggs: Hustling, rebounding, scoring, anything the coach needs me to do.
Q: In OT it seemed like you took over scoring and was more aggressive is that something you wanted to do? Or did it just happen in the flow of the game.
Suggs: One of our top scorers fouled out so myself and Diggy had to attack the basket to win the game, we got fouls and got to the free throw line and knocked them down.
Q: On Game day is there a certain routine that you go through?
Suggs: Pretty much just chill, listen to music and try to be focused for when the game starts so that I can be ready to play.
Q: Any song that you listen to pregame?
Suggs: Nah nothing in particular.
Q: Favorite Artist?
Suggs: Kodak Black
Q: Favorite NBA Team and Favorite Player?
Suggs: Cavs and Kyrie Irving is my favorite player.
