The FSU Broncos lose all-conference point guard Josh Dawson to graduation after this season and that played a role in Clansy’s commitment. “The biggest part of my decision was making sure that I went somewhere where I felt like it was home. The coaching staff showed so much love and interest and they feel like I can come right away and run the show.”
The 6-foot-2 guard is a native of Dayton, Ohio and is playing his senior season in North Carolina. “My senior season is going great I’m averaging about 20 points per game and my team record is 18-4.” Forest Trail Academy plays a national schedule and competes against high-level competition every night.
To succeed at the next level, Clansy stated, “I feel like for the next level I need to work on getting stronger and reading the pick and roll better which I have improved on but feel like I can be better at it.”
