Top 10 Rankings (4A)

Each year during the high school season we will rank the teams in Divisions 5A down to 1A, with a quick explanation on each.
With the season almost two weeks in books already here our rankings of the top 10 teams in 4A.
- Olympus (2-0) The loaded Titans have picked up easy wins against Taylorsville and Cottonwood to start the season. They Will be tested this weekend in the Utah Elite 8 Tournament and will open up with Copper Hills.
- Woods Cross (2-0) The Wildcats averaged 83.5 points in two wins against Viewmont and Northridge. Trevin Knell has looked like the best player in the state thus far. This week Wasatch and Hillcrest are next for Woods Cross
- Corner Canyon (2-0) The Chargers won their own tournament last week by beating Bountiful and Payson. The Elite 8 tournament awaits them week and will open against #1 in 5A Bingham.
- Springville (2-1) Had an opening loss against a solid Westlake team but rebounded with wins over Mountain View and Mountain Crest. They Will play three tough games in the Freetaxusa.com shootout this week.
- Timpview (2-0) Averaged 93 points per game in two wins against Rocky Mountain (ID) and Maple Mountain. They Will play three tough games in the Freetaxusa.com shootout this week.
- Ogden (4-0) The Tigers have crushed inferior competition thus far. The Clarke twins look like they are going to be tough to handle and this may be the year Ogden breaks through. They will be tested at Weber on Tuesday.
- Kearns (1-1) The cougars dominated West in the season opener then took a loss vs 3A powerhouse Juan Diego. They play Granger and Summit Academy this week.
- Skyridge (2-1) The Falcons picked up wins against Salem Hills and Bonneville (ID) then lost against a good Hillcrest (ID) team. They have road games against Syracuse and Maple Mountain.
- Highland (3-1) The Rams have beaten three bad teams in Cottonwood, Granger, and park city then lost to a solid Viewmont. The jury is still out on how good Highland is. The play at Skyline and home vs West.
- Hillcrest (2-0) The Huskies have looked good in wins against East and Clearfield. They will be tested against West Jordan and Woods Cross this week.
