With over 20 schools that are currently showing interest, Groveport-Madison has been a common pit-stop for college coaches. “I currently don’t have any offers. I have been waiting to take my ACT and those results just came back. So hopefully some offers will start to come my way,” said Francis. Francis scored a 21 on his ACT.
When asked what about his game should catch the eyes of college coaches’, Francis said “my game should catch the eye of college coaches because I play hard and I play to win'”
Francis’ primary position is at the power forward spot. “I play as hard as I can to win on the court. I believe I’m a good offensive and defensive player, but I’m always looking at ways to get better.” Francis has also shown the ability to rebound and go coast-to-coast for a finish at the rim. His defensive intensity is also a strong suit of his.
Groveport-Madison is off to a hot start. Their record currently sits at 6-0, “the team as a whole has been performing great. We are all getting better as the days go on. We are making corrections and I am trying to lead the best I can.” In one of his most recent games, Francis scored 30 points and 11 rebounds in only 3 quarters of play. He is currently averaging 18 points and 12 rebounds per game.
