Clements is explosive off the bounce with the ball in his hands. Plays with a lot of flare. Perimeter jump shot is streaky at times, but he can get hot from three. Mostly a scoring point guard, but flashes ability as a distributor. With his toughness and athleticism he has potential on the defensive end of the floor. Should be looked at by mid-major programs.
Clements made the switch over to the Mac Irvin Fire this past July.
“It went well. We were doing good. We made it to the Peach Jam Championship. The players were good.”
He spoke about his skill set as a lead guard.
“Crafty and pass first point guard.”
The sophomore is ready for a big season with the Wolverines.
“We are doing well and are in the gym a lot. Trying to win state. My role is hitting wide open shots and playing defense.”
