The Urban Prep Englewood lead guard is a magician with the ball in his hands. Slick handles in the open floor and has the ability to beat his man off the bounce in the half court. Electric passer when he looks to dish. Likes to shoot threes. Has deep range on shot, but at times can fall in love with it and force a few too many. Level projection will depend on how much he grows and gets stronger.
He played with the Dallas Mustangs in July.
“It went very well. I missed the spring because I was trying to get stronger for the school season. My uncle called me and asked if I wanted to play with them. In July I played with them.”
He spoke about expectations for this year at Urban Prep Englewood.
“This year we are way better than we were last year because we have experience. Four of our starting players are coming back. This year we should be able to get up to the Red-South and make a name for ourselves.”
What is his role on the team?
“My role is keep everything in tack and score when I have too. Right now I need to run the team so they know what they need to do during the game. Run the team.”
