He and fellow classmate Isaiah Pruett (both in the class of 2018) will be key in how Reynolds HS does this season. Pruett is ranked as the 31st best player in North Carolina for the 2018 class. Since we have yet to see Robinson he is not ranked, but expect that to change when the new rankings come out the way he has been playing. PrepHoopsNC had the chance to talk with Robinson about the transition from football to basketball and how the season is going so far.
PrepHoopsNC: How’s the season going so far? Record, averages…
Kaedin Robinson: Season is going alright, we got our full team back from football so we’re working on our chemistry together. Record– 2-6 Avg.. pts 20.5
PrepHoopsNC: What game has been the toughest so far?
Kaedin Robinson: First game was the hardest because all of our football players just got back and we were just trying to get back in or groove.
PrepHoopsNC: What schools have you been hearing from?
Kaedin Robinson: I haven’t heard from any colleges in basketball yet.
PrepHoopsNC: What do you feel that you have improved on since last season and his summer.
Kaedin Robinson: I feel that I’ve gotten a little bouncier from working on my legs over that period of time.
PrepHoopsNC: What are the parts of your game that set you apart from other players?
Kaedin Robinson: My shot and getting to the rim when ever I want.
PrepHoopsNC: What sport do you see yourself playing in college?
Kaedin Robinson: I see my self playing football or basketball I think I’m good enough for Division 1 in both.
