- Butler High School (Matthews)- (10-0) Wins against Mallard Creek HS, Hough, Kings Mountain, South Mecklenburg, North Rowan, Charlotte Catholic, Garinger, East Meck, Myers Park, and Rocky River HS.
- Southwest Guilford High School (Greensboro)-(6-1) The Cowboys lone loss comes from the hands of nationally ranked Greensboro Day School. Quality wins against Southeast Guilford, Northeast Guilford, Page, Grimsley, West Forsyth and Dudley. The Langley trio of Kobe, Keyshaun and Kam are the backbone for this team and how well they play is how well the team will play.
- Seventy-First High School (Fayetteville)-(8-0) Head Coach David Simmons has Seventy-First off to a 8-0 start with wins against NC powers Apex HS and Hoke County HS. Senior J’Mon Raeford is leading the way at 17.7 points per game.
- Northwest Guilford High School (Greensboro)-(7-0) Head Coach Lee Reavis has his team off to a undefeated record. Their closest game so far is a 7-point win over Garner HS. Tre’ Turner and Jalen Spicer are leading this team.
- North Mecklenburg High School (Charlotte)-(9-1) The Vikings have only one loss on the season, at the hands of Hopewell High School. The Vikings feature a young roster with loads of talent. Sophmore Jae’Lyn Withers is one of the top prospects in the area and state at his age.
- Garner High School (Garner)-(6-1)- The Trojans are led this season by Kenyon Burt and Alex Reed. Keys wins come against Cary, Leesville Road and Millbrook. Only loss on the season comes at the hands of Northwest Guilford HS.
- West Forsyth High School (Lewisville)-(6-1) Led by former Chicago Bull and Wake Forest University 3-sport star Rusty LaRue, West Forsyth is off to a 6-1 season so far. Keys wins are two against 1-A power Winston-Salem Prep and only loss coming by four points to Southwest Guilford HS.
- Heritage High School (Wake Forest)-(7-0) The tandem of Jayden Gardner (23 points per game) and Virginia Tech recruit Jarren McAllister (18 points per game) are leading Heritage so far this season. Keys wins come over Enloe, Sanderson, Rolesville and Holly Springs.
- Pinecrest High School (Southern Pines)-(11-0) Head Coach Ben Snyder has his team off to a great start this season at 11-0. Quality wins coming against Southern Lee and South View.
- McDowell High School (Marion)-(7-0) The Titans are off to a undefeated season with wins over North Buncombe, Freedom and RS-Central. Senior Tanner Dillingham, junior Skylar McKinney are leading the way at 15 and 16 points per game a piece.
