There are a handful of players we have not seen in person that are not included in this list, and a few others that we feel might be combo guards or shooting guards.
This list will be updated later in the season as new names emerge.
Danny Bradley, 6’1, Shawnee Mission North (Kan.)
Really impressed with Bradley’s game, can handle it, shoot it, get to the bucket and drop dimes. Michael and Marcus Weathers received much of the Shawnee Mission North attention the past few years, but Bradley can play and he’ll find a home at the next level somewhere.
Jaiden Bristol, 6’1, St. Joe Central
Bristol has some old school in his game and just finds a way to make plays and get things done. He’s probably not a true point, but has the ability to get the job done. Has put up a diverse stat line this year to lead Central to a 7-1 start. He is averaging 17 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 4.1 steals and made 12 of 16 3-point attempts.
Darien Jackson, 6’2, Blue Valley NW (Kan.)
Jackson is one of the top players left on the board in Kansas and has announced he will wait until after the season to make a decision. He is dynamic with the ball and has the ability to play the point or shooting guard position.
Curtis Lewis, 5’11, Pembroke Hill (Mo.)
He’s received some attention from some small D1s and holds several D2 offers, but we love Lewis’ game. He’s not very big, but he can do it all — can score, shoot, handle and really pass it. He is easily one of the better pure passers in the Kansas City area. He was impressive this summer for MoKan Select and would be a steal for a D2 program.
Lieland Lewis, 5’9, St. Thomas Aquinas (Kan.)
Small point guard that can really get to the bucket and finish tough shots in traffic. He is also a premier passer. Slight of build, and not very tall, but he’s a player. Will make a nice small school PG at the next level.
AJ Pleasant, 5’10, Blue Valley NW (Kan.)
Pleasant controls the game and the ball for a supremely talented BVNW squad. Is really craft with the ball and never gets rattled our loses his dribble under pressure. Has the ability to get in the lane and make plays as well. Terrific leadership qualities.
Dru Smith, 6’2, Park Hill (Mo.)
He’s probably not the smoothest point you’ll ever see as he is still growing into the position, but he has all the tools to be a successful college player. Terrific size and length, tremendous athletic ability, can shoot it, distribute and is a high level defender.
Also in the mix
Coby Bullock, 6’0, Blue Valley North (Kan.)
Mikey Chalupa, 5’7, Blue Valley West (Kan.)
Keilon Hunter, 5’10, Blue Valley North (Kan.)
Tyler Geiman, 6’0, Blue Valley (Kan.)
Landry Weber, 5’11, Bishop Miege (Kan.)
