He’s a natural scorer that can knock down the outside shot as well as get to the cup and finish, finished with 22 Points and 4 Assist on the night.
Hamilton Heights Guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: The UK commit had a very solid performance showing his ability to score and distribute the ball, he gets into the paint well to force the defense to collapse and then picks them apart with passes. He’s also a very efficient scorer finishing with 20 Points on only 7 FGA, also had 8 Rebounds and 6 Assist on the night.
La Lumiere Forward/Center Jared Jackson: The Michigan State commit showed the full package to all that were in attendance and even surprised some with how skilled he truly is. Although he is strong and battles inside he also is very skilled and knocked down shots from mid and deep, he would finish the game with 20 Points, 9 Rebounds and 2 Blocks.
La Lumiere Wing Brian Bowen: A lot of people found out about Brian’s ability last season when his squad to Oak Hill to the wire in the National Championship game, he’s a natural scorer with athleticism and a poker face that will make you feel like he is an emotionless player. However he brings it on a nightly basis and is wise with his shot selection, also is a solid rebounder, finished with 18 points and 6 Rebounds.
Wheeler HS PG Darius Perry: Darius didn’t have his best scoring game but what was the most impressive was his outstanding passing ability, he has a certain knack for putting on point passes to teammates for easy buckets. Also was an excellent defender, stepped up and guarded on of the top scorers in the event once he got it going.
La Lumiere Center Jacob Epperson: At 6’11 he’s a young man that’s going to catch your attention immediately, he’s not necessarily a stat sheet stuffer but a player that is fundamentally sound and transitioning to getting use to the American style of play.
