What are some strengths you have in your game that make you the player that you are?
“I like getting to the basket and finishing with my length. I also feel like i’m a good passer and I try to get my teammates the ball where they can score.”
What are some of your weaknesses that you would like to work on?
“I need to continue to work on my ball handling which will really help me as a big guard. I also need to improve my shot selection, sometimes I can take bad shots that are not within the offense.”
Who is the toughest player you can recall playing against in Utah High School basketball?
“Last year I played against Tyler Bennett from Dixie High. He was a guard who could do everything and was a tough matchup for our team.”
What team on your schedule do you want to beat the most and why?
“I would actually say everybody in out region because we’re all from the same town down here. Every region game is rivalry game which makes our region a fun one to play in ”
What team that isn’t on your schedule in Utah do you want to play the most and why?
“I wanted to play Ridgeline. They are a talented a team and have one of the best players in the state in Brenchley.”
How do you see your team doing this year?
“We have the talent and the potential to be the number one or number two team out of our region. We believe we can make a deep run in the playoffs.”
Who is your favorite NBA player and why?
“Kevin Garnett. He’s Super tough and the passion he brings to every play is something I admire.”
What is your favorite moment in your high school career?
“Winning the state championship as a sophomore by three points.”
Who has the best home crowd in the state other than your own?
“Dixie and Deseret Hills. When we play them there is always big crowds and they are loud. I love playing in those games.”
What is your favorite off the court activity and why?
“I love playing football. That’s something I love to do and when I’m not playing basketball.”
What do you want to major in for college?
“I’ve thought about business or marketing. I’ve taken business classes in high school and it’s something that interest me.”
What is your plan for after high school?
Playing college football or basketball. I have football offers to Dixie State, University of San Diego, Adams State, and Dakota State. For basketball I’m getting recruited by Dakota State, Jamestown University, Everrett Community College, Southwestern Oregon Community College, and Midland University.
Prep Hoops evaluation
Dylan is a 6’6 guard who has a versatile game and is able to guard every position on the court. He is best when he’s in the open court getting to the basket. This year he has several big time dunks which shows how good of an athlete he is. Dylan is a NAIA and junior college prospect.
