Matt Halvorsen (Christ School)- The Western Carolina University recruit is the best shooter in WNC, if not the state. He is capable of making shots as soon as he walks in the gym. He has put up numerous games with five-plus three-pointers. Halvorsen has helped Christ School to a 3-2 overall record while playing a tough non-conference schedule so far this season.
Giir Ring (Christ School)- The 2018 product who this season transferred to Christ School has been key in the Greenies success so far this season. At 6-foot-8, Ring has the ability to guard multiple players on the floor. He put up 12 points and 8 rebounds against Knoxville Christian in a 85-41 win. He has offers from East Carolina, Florida State, Texas, Eastern Noew Mexico, Kansas State, Ohio State, Texas A&M, and Central Florida.
Damon Harge (Christ School)- The YouTube sensation Harge has had a steady season at Christ School being the floor general. He is almost impossible to guard with the ball in his hands and is one of the top prospects in the state at his position. He has offers from Central Florida, North Carolina Central, DePaul, Pacific, Memphis and Texas Tech.
Caleb Mills (Asheville Christian Academy)- One of the best overall prospects in WNC is Mills. He has received offers from Wintrhop and Lipscomb. The 6-foot-1 sophomore point guard had 18 points against Hickory Christian.
Chris Clayton (Asheville Christian Academy)- Clayton, a 6-foot-8 power forward had 19 points for Asheville Christian in a win over Hickory Christian. He is one of the top post prospects in WNC.
De’Angelo Elliott (Carolina Day)-The sophomore is in his first season at Carolina Day School after spending last season at Asheville High School. He is a long wing, who can score from the post out to the three-point line. In a close loss to Legacy Charter, Elliott scored 14 points.
Raishaun Brown (Carolina Day)- Another one of the talented sophomores at Carolina Day, Brown knows how to play basketball. He can score, defend, hustles and is a leader on the floor. Brown scored 16 points against Legacy Charter to start the season.
Tai Giger (Carolina Day)- WNC’s other top guard, Giger is a true workhorse. He has a big frame to bully his way into the lane. He has great court vision and a high basketball IQ.
