The 1st team All-District point guard averaged 23 points per game this past season and is starting to get the notice of college programs nationally. South Florida and American have offered the junior. pass first point guard with eyes in the back of his head and a high basketball IQ, Shubert is a scoring point guard. He can take over a game at any point and can shoot the lights out from anywhere on the floor. He has good size at 6-foot-1 and is strong for his age. “I’m a scoring pg that likes to get his teammates open and make them better, I can see the floor really well and am athletic enough to finish over bigger defenders in the lane.” Shubert has helped Lincoln Charter to a 3-0 start so far this season and are early season favorites for the 1-A state title. Kody Shubert: I try to be the best team player I can be and I try to play like I know I can play all that matters is the win
PrepHoopsNC: When did you start playing basketball?
Kody Shubert: I started playing basketball when I was really young I’m not sure the exact age but it had to be probably around 4 or 5
PrepHoopsNC: What is your favorite NBA team?
Kody Shubert: The Charlotte Hornets

Kody Shubert: Wake Forest
PrepHoopsNC: Where is your favorite place to play?
Kody Shubert: I love to play at home our fans are great.
