He’s not the fastest or most athletic player on the floor but definitely has the ability to knock down shots from deep, he has a few games this past season with multiple treys and will be one to keep a close eye on this season.
Carter Collins East Chapel Hill 2017 Guard: I’m sure you’ve heard of this young man before, although he has a calm demeanor his game speaks very loudly. There is a theory that most left handed players are good shooters and Carter will make you a believer in this, he’s a left that can flat out fill it up from mid and deep. He has already verbally committed to Davidson, and we expect him to have a very successful career.
Jorden Davis Jr Durham Academy 2017 Guard: Most people know Jorden from his dunk at the Super 60 event which made YouTube go crazy, well my first opportunity to see Jordan was during the UNCP Elite camp. During this camp this young man put on a shooting clinic, knocking down shots from NBA range off the dribble and off the catch, I didn’t keep official count but he shot well over 70% from three point range during camp. He is a player that D2 schools should be all over, and should be dropping in to see him during this upcoming season.
Brandon Murray EE Smith HS 2018 Guard: Brandon impressed me over the summer while playing with the Fayetteville Elite 16U squad and with the Fayetteville Flash , he is what we would call a catch and shoot specialist. He doesn’t create his own shot very often but is very successful being on the wing and corner to catch and shoot, he knocks down treys at a very high rate and will be a good addition to the EE Smith varsity squad.
