The state’s third leading returning scorer, only top 2017s Jay Small and Joe Smoldt averaged more points per game last season. Originally a Des Moines East product, Kyles moved to the northwest side of the state before his junior season, and it’s proven to be an effective move.
First Team
2017 Christian Kyles, 6′ G, Siouxland Christian (24.8 PPG, 51 FG%, 44 3FG%, 5.3 APG, 4.1 SPG, 6.1 RPG)
He spent his summer playing with South Dakota Attack 17U, and could see his production increase this winter for the Eagles.
2017 Jeremiah Bor Khat, 5’10 G, Siouxland Christian (14.0 PPG, 4.3 APG)
Another great scoring option for the Eagles, Kyles and Bor Khat are the conference’s two leading returning scorers.
2017 Juan Delagarza, 6’4 G/F, Maple Valley-Anton Ono (12.0 PPG, 2.8 APG, 2.3 SPG, 5.4 PPG)
The leading scorer on last season’s 1A runner-up, Delagarza does a little bit of everything well for the Rams.
2018 Drew Brekke, 6’4 PF, Westwood (13.8 PPG, 51 FG%, 1.3 BPG, 10.0 RPG)
The only returning player in the conference who averaged a double-double last season, and he was only a sophomore when he did it.
2018 Tyler Walker, 6’2 G, Woodbury Central (13.7 PPG, 1.6 SPG, 3.7 RPG)
Good-sized guard who shoots it well and could average up around 20 points per game as a junior this winter.
Second Team
2017 Austin Rapp, 6’3 F, Woodbury Central
2019 Nathan Keck, G/F, Kingsley-Pierson
2017 AJ Lefler, 5’11 G, Lawton-Bronson
